About HourToYear

HourToYear is a small set of free pay calculators. It answers the questions people ask when they compare a job offer, plan a budget or set a rate: how much an hourly wage pays per year, what a salary works out to per hour, what overtime adds and what a raise is worth.

Every page is built from the same formulas, which are published on the methodology page together with the sources of the reference figures (federal minimum wage, Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data). Results are gross pay, before taxes and deductions. They are estimates for planning, not payroll figures.

The site is free to use and is supported by advertising. It does not ask for your name, income or any account. The numbers you type stay in your browser.
